Unexpected Blessings

The past few weeks have been full of new experiences and unexpected blessings. Waaahhh my companion, Sister Jo, had to go home urgently last week due to dental treatment 😥 Even though we only got to serve together for two weeks, I am grateful for my new eternal friend.

I am now covering the area with the Sokcho sisters. Some people hate being in a trio and some people love it… and I LOVE IT!!! ❤ Our trio companionship is probably the most international it can get. Sister Svobodova is from Czech Republic and Sister Arcilla is from the Philippines!! Sister Svobodova is actually the first missionary from Czech Republic to serve in Asia, so I feel honoured to serve with her hehe… We are now SUPER busy having to go back and forth between our two areas 3 or 4 times a week, but it’s definitely a fun adventure!!

In Sokcho, Sister Yoon was baptised yesterday! She was so nervous before the baptism, but just seeing her smile afterwards and hearing about how happy she felt afterwards really touched my heart. I love being able to observe the change in people’s lives as they make the necessary promises with our loving Heavenly Father. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is so simple but it can really change our lives. It’s an opportunity that we are given to be able to progress and fulfill the purpose of our lives.

Missionary work is not easy but everyday is a new experience and a new blessing.
